Cowboy’s permanent teeth are beginning to come in and as a
result he is chewing aggressively on his toys. The soft, plushy toys all have
holes chewed in them, and being mostly concerned that he will eat the stuffing they have all been put away for now.
In exchange he has several hard rubbery toys that he can
chew on to his little heart’s content, and I bought him a “Skinee”; a soft toy
with squeakers but no stuffing. He LOVES
it! He went absolutely bonkers over it;
running up and down the hallway like a little bucking horse, growling at it and
“killing” it. He played with that thing
all day and never let it out of his sight. And when it was time for supper he
carried it into his crate, where it sat while he was eating. If Kizzy or I so much as looked at it, he
pounced on it and carried it off someplace else.
Oh, he is so entertaining.
